Through AmeriCorps *VISTA, ordinary people provide extraordinary service in more than 1,200 projects nationwide.
Over the next five to seven years communities will begin to feel the impacts of an increasing number of citizens who are reaching the age of 65. For many of these citizens, the funds they set aside for retirement will not be nearly enough to sustain them through this great period of their lives. This project seeks to put into place systems that will enable our elder population to live above poverty and to find the resources that afford them a good quality of life.
Positions:
- Assist in developing the funds needed to expand the facility for the clinic
- Expand Senior Housing base.
- Develop a business plan for Senior Employment.
