Our Board of Directors...


Bill Duffy of Keimle & Hagood became a member of the Board in 2003.  He has chaired the design development committee for our expansion and is now our President.

Mike Church is an attorney with Stamper Rubens. He serves on both the operations committee and the expansion fund raising committee.  He now is serving as Vice President of the Board.

Jim Ingebritsen formerly managed the Hillyard Safeway and has served on the NECCA Board for more than a dozen years and serves NECCA as Treasurer.

Barbara Stout of Progressions Credit Union is a resident of the Minnehaha Neighborhood.  Stout volunteers in the COP Shop and serves NECCA as its Secretary and chairs the Marketing Committee.
Kevin Walstrom
Kevin Walstrom is the Chief Financial Officer for Providence Health Care and has completed his second year as President of the Northeast Community Center Board. Pete Fortin, a former City Manager, brings expertise to the Board in finance and in governmental relations.  He serves on the Finance Committee and as the chair of the Expansion
Joyce Jones, from Hillyard Steering Committee, is a long time resident of Hillyard and founding board member of NECCA.  She is a past Trustee of Spokane Public Library and a former member of the Board of KSPS. Joyce McNamee Joyce McNamee, an Oral Health Consultant, has served on the founding board of the Community health Association of Spokane and has been a NECCA Board member since 1994

Renee Taylor from Principal Financial is a representative of the Chief Garry Park Neighborhood.  Taylor has served on the NECCA Board for nine years.  She and her husband also own a small neighborhood-based business.

Mary Gaddy from the Department of Ecology,  helped NECCA establish the Institute of Neighborhood Leadership and worked to convert a superfund site in Hillyard to a recreation spot for youth.  She serves as chair of program development for the expansion effort. 

Paul Hamilton, a former chair of the Hillyard Neighborhood Council is actively engaged in economic development for the neighborhood.  Hamilton is with Allstate Insurance and has served on the NECCA Board for 3 years

Tony Bonanzino, CEO of Hollister Stier Laboratories, is a past chair of the Spokane Regional Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Board of Regents of Gonzaga University and coaches premier soccer.

Joe

Joe Ormsby, a local teacher in Spokane and Logan neighborhood resident, heads the Youth Symposium meetings as part of the Board’s Program Development Committee.

Deborah Shockley is a dance instructor at her own studio and has been a past chair of the Nevada-Lidgerwood Steering Committee.  She is completing her second year on the Board.

Ann Carey

Ann Carey, a National Account Executive for Avista Utilities, is new to the NECCA Board, serving on the fund raising committee.  Carey is a long time supporter of United Way and Avista’s Campaign Chair in 2007.

Sean Bresnahan

Sean Bresnahan of American West Bank joined the Board in November and has brought fund raising experience to the expansion effort.  Bresnahan is president of the Spokane Jazz Society and an active member of the Rotary Club #21.
